Philip Ma, President at Sugar Land Branch
Philip is is a senior at Clements high school in Sugar Land, Texas. He loves music and sports. Philip has played piano for about 9 years and started when he was six. He started learning with Mr. Yifan Liu in Dallas. Since relocating to Sugar Land in the summer of 2018, he is a student of Mr. John Weems. Some music accomplishments include a 2nd place of 2018 Steinway Competition in Dallas, Finalist of 2019 MNTA 9th grade, Blinn College Young Pianists Competition- 2nd in 7th-8th grade (2019), 3rd place in 9th -10th grade (2020). 2018 Dallas Symphonic Festival Intermediate Concerto -3rd. 2017 Dallas Symphonic Festival Intermediate Sonatina- 1st . Other than music, Philip is an athlete in school. He played football in 7th and 8th grade, now he is a 110 m and 300 m hurdle runner in the high school track team. He wishes to bring joy to people through music

Alice Ma, Co-President at Sugar Land Branch
Alice Ma is a senior student at The Kinkaid School, and she is so excited continuing to be the Marketing Director for MOH, and lead the Sugar Land chapter as Co-President. Her number one passion is dance, which she started at the age of three. She did competitive dance for more than ten years at the Oriental Arts Education Center, winning numerous titles at national dance competitions like Starquest and Showstopper, Alice started joining the Kinkaid Dance Company (DCO) in her freshman year, currently she is serving as the President of DCO , and she is also Co-President of Chinese Club, Speaker Representative Chair for the Young Alumni Leaders, Senior Representative for the Curriculum Committee, and Dance Captain of the annual spring musical. In her free time, Alice loves to read, watch Netflix, skiing and swim. She hopes to spread her love of art and bring joy to others through dance in Music of Harmony!

David Chen, Vice President at Sugar Land Branch
David Chen is a rising junior attending Clements High School in Sugar Land, TX. He has played cello for 5 years under the tutelage of Ms. Cindy Fu. As a cellist, David has received a superior rating at the 2020-2021 Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest. He has also been a member of Houston Youth Symphony for 5 years. David is currently in the Philharmonia Orchestra (2nd highest level). He has auditioned into the 2021-2022 TMEA 13 All-Area Orchestra. David has volunteered at MOH, and various other music organizations for 100+ hours. In his spare time, David enjoys playing chess and soccer. David’s active involvement in MOH will help senior citizens find joy in music.

Felix Shen, Team Lead at Sugar Land Branch
Felix Shen is currently a sophomore at Clements High School. He has played cello for 7 years and started in third grade. Felix studies with Mrs. Cindy Fu. He has participated in All-region in all three years of middle school and also played in the high school All-region for 2 years. Throughout his years in middle school and high school, Felix participated in the Solo and Ensemble UIL contest. Felix has also been in the Houston Youth Symphony since 2017 and is currently in the Symphony Orchestra. During 2021, Felix participated in the Texas All-state Symphony Orchestra, being the 13th chair. Finally, Felix has been in Music of Harmony since 2017. Outside of cello, Felix is a swimmer for the First Colony Swim Team. He enjoys swimming and also drawing. He hopes to spread happiness through music to all of the seniors.
