Charlie Yang, President at Memorial Branch
Charlie (Ziqian) Yang is a incoming senior at The Kinkaid School. I started playing cello in 6th grade. I was a cellist at Beckendorff Middle School, and I am now the principal cellist at Kinkaid. I have been a TMEA Region 23 orchestra member since 7th grade and the TPSMEA All-State orchestra since 9th grade. Besides cello, I have also played classical guitar since 1st grade and have participated in the Houston Guitar Festival Competition as well as the Houston Summer Guitar Conservatory.

Audrey Huang, Vice President at Memorial Branch
Audrey is a incoming junior at High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. I have played piano since I was 6 and have continued to dedicate myself to it at HSPVA. I have been a finalist at the TMTA Performance Contest in 2021 and 2022. In addition, I have placed first in the Rocky Mountain Piano Competition and was awarded First Prize with Special Honors at the 2020 Sonatina and Sonata International Youth Competition. Throughout middle school, I was a harpist of the Sartartia Middle School Orchestra for two years and received 4th chair region in 7th grade as well.

Katherine Guo, Team Lead at Memorial Branch
Katherine is a current sophomore at Memorial High School. Her interest in music started with the piano at age 5 and then proceeded with violin at age 10. She is a member of the Houston Youth Symphony and also plays violin at Memorial. Katherine has also been a part of TMEA Region 27 orchestra since 7th grade and has received many solo ensemble awards. Aside from violin, Katherine also enjoys dance where she has won numerous titles at regional and national competitions. She hopes to better the community through MOH with her passions.

Elizabeth Jiang, Team Lead at Memorial Branch
Elizabeth Jiang is an incoming sophomore at Seven Lakes High School. She has been playing piano for 10 years, and is currently a pianist for the Seven Lakes Orchestra. She has passed the Royal Music Conservatory Piano Exams Levels 7 and 9, and is now preparing for Level 10. She has also acted as the piano accompanist for the Beckendorff Junior High Solo and Ensemble contest. In addition to the piano, Elizabeth also played the violin for the Beckendorff Orchestra in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Among many things, Elizabeth loves to bring joy to others and give back to the community. |
