Noah Chung, Vice President at Pennsylvania Branch
Noah Chung is a sophomore at Wissahickon High School who has been playing piano
since first grade under the guidance of his teacher, Mr. Jon Coyle. With a deep and
growing passion for music, Noah explores a wide range of genres, with a particular love
for classical, jazz, and bossa nova styles. Over the years, Noah has performed in eight
recitals, each one reflecting his growth as a musician and his dedication to the piano.
His strong classical foundation, combined with his creativity and improvisational skills
drawn from jazz, has helped him develop a unique and expressive playing style. He
often blends genres in his performances, bringing together the structure of classical
music with the freedom and nuance of jazz. For Noah, the piano is far more than just a
hobby—it’s a lifelong passion and a powerful outlet for artistic expression. Outside of
music, Noah leads a well-rounded life. He participates in AAU basketball, volleyball, and
holds a background in taekwondo. Since the summer of 2025, he has also worked as a
server at an Acts Retirement Home, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and
community engagement.
